Fires can cause property damage and loss of life, so taking necessary precautions is essential. Proper fire protection systems, including alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers, should be in place, and they must be regularly maintained and tested to ensure their proper function.

Developing a fire safety plan with evacuation procedures, designated meeting places, and emergency contacts is vital. Regular fire drills can prepare building occupants for emergencies and reduce panic in case of a fire.

All building occupants should receive proper training on fire prevention, using fire extinguishers, and evacuation procedures. Having designated individuals trained to respond to fire emergencies is also important.
